Before Opening Day: What to Check After Installing Fuel Dispensers

This is the final post in the series. The dispensers are in place, but a few checks remain before a station opens. Here we look at the site and list general points to review.

Dispensers lined up at a new station before opening

Pallets and packaging are still on the forecourt, so the station is in its final preparation stage. The dispensers, however, are already in a row, with guard rails next to them.

General points to check after installation

  • Dispenser fixing, and how hoses and nozzles are fitted
  • Display and button operation
  • Any leaks at piping and connections
  • Guards and floor markings for vehicle flow
