Easy to Find, Day or Night: Lighting and Layout at a New Station in the Middle East & North Africa
This time we look beyond the dispenser itself and at the station around it. These photos of a newly built station in the Middle East and North Africa show how lighting and layout make the forecourt easy to read.
Lighting you can see from the road

Curved strip lights run along the canopy edge, and LED lines continue across the ceiling. Even from the road at night, the station is easy to spot and the entrance is easy to read.
Islands designed as one unit

Grey-clad columns and beams frame each dispenser. Ring lights on top of the columns, together with the ceiling lighting, mark the position of every island at a glance.
Floor markings and guards for vehicle flow
Arrow markings on the floor show the direction of travel, and guard bars stand next to the dispensers.
